Be Siegfried

A snapshot from Richard Wagner's "Siegfried" becomes an experience in a virtual world. Director Jay Scheib and designer Joshua Higgason partnered with NightLight to bring a one of a kind experience to opera-goers at the renowned annual festival. Donning VR headsets, guests stepped into Siegfried’s boots to slay the dragon Fafner and prevent the opera house from being destroyed.

NightLight developed the original location-based VR experience for Meta Quest headsets, utilizing hand tracking and a complete digital replica of the Bayreuth Festspielhaus to create an unforgettable immersive activation.
