NightLight was honored to oversee a digital gallery of activist artwork from around the globe during the 2019 Oslo Freedom Forum.
Four large scale LED screens displayed content day and night in Spikersuppa Park throughout the forum's duration. Content included everything from banned political cartoons to firsthand account photos of demonstrations in China and Cuba. The unique venue provided an opportunity for activists to showcase their work without barriers of entry such as printing, shipping, and risk of interception or censure by their governments.
NightLight crafted programming for the multichannel display from a pool of over 400 images and video works, creating custom transitions and interstitial graphics as an extension of Human Rights Foundation's branding.
