Raja's Laser Dress

To pull off Raja Gemini's spectacular "All Glowed Up" runway look from RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, designer Miodrag Guberinic tapped NightLight Labs to advise on a laser system that balanced maximum visual impact with the practical needs of a wearable electronic display.

NightLight designed and prototyped a one-of-a-kind laser system to integrate with Mio Design NYC's unique 3D-printed and Swarovski crystal-studded dress pieces. The result featured over 200 lasers powered by 12 battery packs.
